Visit from the Embassy of Hungary, Ljubljana / 6.06.2023

On June 5, 2023, the Department of Environmental Sciences proudly hosted his excellences Andor Dávid, the Ambassador of Hungary to Slovenia, Ms. Erika Jakó, the Head of Trade and Commercial Office, and Ms. Andrea Földvári Oláh, Consul. 

The visit took place with the aim of potential future cooperation with JSI and the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School (IPS).

At a pleasant meeting, Prof Dr. Milena Horvat presented the work of IPS and the laboratories of the Department of Environmental Sciences. Dr. Polona Vrača and Dr. Norbert Kavasi presented ongoing scientific cooperation between Slovenia and Hungary and Dr. Radojko Jaćimović with the help of Dr. Anže Jazbec took them on a tour around the TRIGA Mark II nuclear reactor.
