We are thrilled to announce that the RadoNorm Citizen Science Incubator has been awarded one of the 27 Honorary Mentions by Ars Electronica as part of the European Union Prize for Citizen Science. This recognition is a testament to our Environmental Informatics group efforts and dedication to advancing citizen science.

Out of more than 288 applications from 54 countries, Ars Electronica, commissioned by the European Commission as part of the IMPETUS project, selected our project for this honor. IMPETUS, which stands for “Innovative Methods for Providing European citizens with Trusted and Useful Science,” aims to promote and support groundbreaking citizen science initiatives across Europe.

An international jury of five esteemed experts evaluated the submissions and chose three winning projects along with 27 honorary mentions, including ours. This achievement highlights the impact and importance of our work in the global citizen science community.
