Melting glaciers / 4.11.2022

JSI participated in the analyzes of the Triglav glacier and the glacier under Skuta.

This year's melting season was the warmest for Slovenian glaciers since 1955.
Extensive analyzes and samplings were carried out this year, which will be able to tell us more about the past and semi-past history of glaciers, as we only have known data for a century and a half ago.
