Last sampling completed / 11.04.2022

The last sampling campaign in »Krka« National park, Croatia, was conducted in the first week of April in the framework of the bilateral collaboration project »Non-traditional isotopes as a new tool for estimation of continental CO₂ sinks«. 

The Krka and Zrmanja river water was sampled for Sr and Mg isotope analyses, to estimate the seasonal variability of isotope compositions of dissolved metals. We were amazed by some fascinant scenes that cannot be seen in the summer season at low discharge!
