On November 9th the digital event will be organized to present and review scientific breakthroughs of the world's most demanding challenges.

The ERC has been working with the Falling Walls Foundation for many years. This year, due to the health situation, the event will be organized digitally on November 9th. The purpose of the event is to present and review scientific breakthroughs in order to encourage a way of thinking outside the box in solving the world's most demanding challenges. Thus, the 10 selected breakthroughs of the year will get a prominent place in the media and the public. Applications are expected by September 1, 2020.
