The ESFRI Landscape Analysis 2024 has been released, offering a comprehensive overview of the European Research Infrastructure ecosystem, featuring significant advancements in AI, quantum computing, and digitalization. We are proud to note that Prof. Milena Horvat, Head of the Department, was one of the external experts who contributed to this groundbreaking document.

Providing a comprehensive overview of the European Research Infrastructure (RI) ecosystem this year's report is the first to be separate from the Roadmap, featuring the new ESFRI RIs Portfolio online tool and incorporating stakeholder insights. Key highlights include advances in AI, quantum computing, and digitalisation; a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and low carbon energy; rapid responses to global crises such as health emergencies and climate change; enhanced data capabilities transforming scientific inquiry; and ensuring alignment with societal values.
