Do you need ideas or guidance to start incorporating participatory methodologies in your research? / 28.02.2022
CitieS-Health, a H2020 funded project, being conducted at the Department of Environmental Sciences at JSI, launched a Citizen Science Toolkit - a customised and interactive collection of adaptable instruments to empower anybody to engage communities to solve issues of common concerns and deploy actions for making your world a better place to live in.
The Toolkit, available at https://citizensciencetoolkit.eu/, provides examples and resources from the CitieS-Health project and other participatory projects for identifying a common problem, designing a citizens-driven research study, and proactively collecting data to provide evidence that informs actions.
Specific section on the website enables anyone who works on participatory projects to suggest new ways to engage citizens in science. Moreover, free consultancy sessions have been launched on citizen engagement for those that need ideas or guidance.
